Synopsis: It's the 1940s and the world is at war again. Jack, a WW1 veteran, is slipping from his perceived purpose in life - to make everyone remember the sacrifice of good friends gone. His path to self-destruction comes to halt when he encounters Masaru - a Japanese POW. For Masaru, the decision to stay alive is as difficult as the decision to die. For these two men of war, they find a common bond; there is death and there is survival, but what about suicide?
